Personau Dynodedig ar gyfer Diogelu ac Amddiffyn Plant

Mr. Llew Davies
Pennaeth

Mrs. Lisa Kirwin Jones
Dirprwy Bennaeth

Wyt ti'n cael dy gam-drin?

Wyt ti'n cael dy gam-drin?

Ydych chi'n cael eich cam-drin - gartref neu gan rywun arall? Ydy rhywun gartref yn cael ei drin yn wael gan rywun arall? Oes gennych chi ffrind sydd angen cymorth oherwydd ei fod yn cael ei gam-drin?

Gall cam-drin ddigwydd mewn sawl ffordd:

  • cam-drin corfforol:  taro, ysgwyd, taflu, llosgi neu ddefnyddio meddyginiaeth i niweidio rhywun.
  • cam-drin emosiynol:  gwneud i rywun deimlo'n ddiwerth, dweud wrthyn nhw nad oes neb yn eu caru; frightening them - bygwth niwed, bod yn gas; camfanteisio ar gyfer gwaith neu ryw.
  • cam-drin rhywiol:  gorfodi rhywun i gymryd rhan mewn gweithgaredd rhywiol, gorfodi rhywun i edrych ar a/neu greu cynnwys pornograffig. Annog rhywun i ymddwyn yn rhywiol amhriodol.
  • esgeulustod:  peidio â darparu bwyd, llety neu ddillad addas; peidio ag atal niwed neu risg corfforol, peidio â sicrhau mynediad at ofal neu driniaeth feddygol; peidio â sicrhau bod y plentyn yn derbyn addysg gyson.

Beth i'w wneud:

  • Cysylltwch â'r Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol a dywedwch wrthynt beth sy'n digwydd.
    Ffôn:  01758 704 455
    (Rhif y tu allan i oriau: 01248 353551)
  • E-bost:  cyfeiriadauplant@gwynedd.llyw.cymru
  • Mewn  argyfwng  – fel pan fydd rhywun yn cael ei daro neu ei gau allan o’u cartref – ffoniwch yr heddlu ar 999
  • Ffoniwch Childline ar 0800 1111 neu ewch i  wefan ChildLine
  • Gallwch ofyn i oedolyn yr ydych yn ymddiried ynddo, fel athro neu weithiwr ieuenctid neu hyd yn oed ffrind, i wneud yr alwad ffôn ar eich rhan. Pan fydd pobl yn gweithio gyda phlant a phobl ifanc mae'n rhaid iddynt ddilyn gweithdrefnau penodol, ond byddant yn esbonio i chi beth fyddant yn ei wneud a bydd yn eich cefnogi drwy'r broses.
  • Os ydych chi'n cael eich bwlio, siaradwch â staff yr ysgol - mae pawb yno i helpu. Os ydych chi eisiau mwy o gefnogaeth, gofynnwch am gael siarad â Mr Davies yn uniongyrchol. Cymerwch olwg ar   wefannau Childline ,  Kidscape  a  SortIt .

Os bydd rhywbeth yn eich poeni neu'n codi ofn arnoch chi, ac nad ydych chi'n siŵr ai cam-drin ydyw, siaradwch â rhywun rydych chi'n ymddiried ynddo.

Ydych chi'n poeni am blentyn?

Ydych chi'n poeni am blentyn?

Mae cam-drin yn golygu naill ai niweidio rhywun neu beidio â sicrhau nad yw rhywun yn cael ei niweidio. Gall cam-drin neu esgeulustod ddigwydd o fewn teulu neu sefydliad, gan bobl sy'n gyfarwydd, neu'n llai aml gan ddieithryn.

Os ydych chi'n adnabod plentyn sydd mewn perygl o gael ei gam-drin neu'n cael ei gam-drin, mae'n bwysig iawn rhoi gwybod i'r Cyngor neu'r heddlu.

Os yw’r unigolyn mewn perygl uniongyrchol, ffoniwch yr heddlu ar unwaith - 999.

Os na, ffoniwch y Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol cyn gynted â phosibl i rannu eich pryder.

  • Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol:  01758 704 455
    (Rhif y tu allan i oriau: 01248 353551)

Pa wybodaeth fydd angen i mi ei rhannu?

  • Beth yw natur eich pryder, a beth a arweiniodd ato?
  • Beth yw enw, dyddiad geni, cyfeiriad a manylion teulu'r dioddefwr? (os yw'n hysbys)
  • Pwy sydd wedi peri'r pryder hwn ichi, ac a oes unrhyw dystion eraill?

Beth sy'n digwydd nesaf?

  • Bydd eich galwad yn cael ei chofnodi a bydd gwybodaeth am yr unigolyn yn cael ei gwirio i weld a yw'n gyfarwydd.
  • Cesglir gwybodaeth gan asiantaethau eraill a allai fod â chysylltiadau â'r unigolyn.
  • Ar sail y wybodaeth hon, bydd penderfyniad yn cael ei wneud ynghylch a ddylid ymchwilio i’ch pryder.
  • Gallai hyn arwain at gymryd camau llym i ddiogelu’r unigolyn rhag dioddef niwed pellach.

Beth ddyliwn i ei wneud os oes gen i bryder am aelod o staff?

Beth ddyliwn i ei wneud os oes gen i bryder am aelod o staff?

Dylech adrodd unrhyw bryderon am aelod o staff i'r Pennaeth.

Bydd y Pennaeth yn dilyn y camau a nodir yn y polisi amddiffyn plant a’r hyfforddiant blynyddol a gaiff gain yr awdurdod lleol. Byddwn bob amser yn gwrando ar ein plant.

Beth os oeddwn yn pryderu am y Pennaeth?

Os ydych yn pryderu am y Pennaeth, yn dibynnu ar ddifrifoldeb y plentyn, gallwch fynd yn syth at y gwasanaethau cymdeithasol neu'r heddlu a dilyn i fyny gydag arweinydd yr awdurdod lleol ar ddiogelu ac amddiffyn plant.

Deputy Headteacher

Are you being abused?

Are you being abused?

Are you being abused- at home or by someone else?  Is someone at home being treated badly by someone else? Do you have a friend who needs help because they are being abused?

Abuse can happen in many ways:

  • physical abuse: hitting, shaking, throwing, burning or using medication to harm someone.
  • emotional abuse: making someone feel worthless, telling them that no-one loves them; frightening them - threatening harm, being nasty; exploitation for work or sex.
  • sexual abuse: forcing someone to participate in sexual activity, forcing someone to look at and/or create pornographic content. Encouraging someone to engage in sexually inappropriate behaviour.
  • neglect: not providing suitable food, accommodation or clothing; not preventing harm or physical risk, not ensuring access to care or medical treatment; not ensuring that the child receives regular education.

What to do:

  • Contact Social Services and tell them what's happening.
    Phone: 01758 704 455
(Out of hours number: 01248 353551)
  • E-mail: cyfeiriadauplant@gwynedd.llyw.cymru
  • In an emergency – like when someone is being hit or shut out of their home – call the police on 999
  • Ring Childline on 0800 1111 or go to the ChildLine website
  • You can ask an adult that you trust, like a teacher or youth worker or even a friend, to make the phone call for you. When people are working with children and young people they have to follow set procedures, but they will explain to you what they will do and will support you through the process.
  • If you are bullied, talk to the school staff - everyone is there to help. If you want more support, ask to speak to Mr Davies directly. Take a look at the ChildlineKidscape and SortIt websites.

If something bothers you or makes you scared, and you're not sure if it's abuse, talk to someone you trust.

Are you concerned about a child?

Are you concerned about a child?

Abuse means either harming someone or not ensuring that someone isn't harmed. Abuse or neglect can happen within a family or an organisation, by people who are familiar, or less often by a stranger.

If you know a child who is at risk of abuse or is being abused, it’s very important to let the Council or the police know.

If the individual is in direct danger, call the police immediately - 999.

If not, telephone Social Services as soon as possible to share your concern.

  • Social Services: 01758 704 455
(Out of hours number: 01248 353551)

What information will I need to share?

  • What is the nature of your concern, and what led to it?
  • What is the victim's name, date of birth, address and family details? (if known)
  • Who has caused you this concern, and are there any other witnesses?

What happens next?

  • Your call will be logged and information about the individual will be checked to see whether they are familiar.
  • Information will be collected from other agencies that might have links to the individual.
  • On the basis of this information, a decision will be made about whether to investigate your concern.
  • This could lead to rigorous steps taken to safeguard the individual from suffering further harm.

What if I was concerned about a member of staff?

What if I was concerned about a member of staff?

You should report any concerns about a member of staff to the Headteacher.

The Headteacher will follow the steps set out in the child protection policy and the annual training received by the local authority. We will always listen to our children.

What if I was concerned about the Headteacher?

If you are concerned about the Headteacher, depending on the severity, you can go directly to social services or the police and follow up with the local authority lead on safeguarding and child protection.

If a child were to report anything about the Headteacher, all staff must contact social services and the police and LADO, without informing the Headteacher.
